STENA EUROPE – Enhancing Crew Comfort on a Vital RoPax Ferry
The Stena Europe serves as a crucial RoPax ferry on the Fishguard-Rosslare route, facilitating essential passenger and freight transport across the Irish Sea. At 149 meters in length, with a capacity for 1,400 passengers and 480 cars, the vessel plays a vital role in regional transport networks.
Accomar’s Contribution:
Accomar undertook a comprehensive refurbishment of the crew decks, focusing on enhancing comfort and operational efficiency:
Concept & Detailed Design: Development of innovative layouts for modern crew cabins, recreation areas, and operational spaces to maximize usability and comfort.
Insulation and Furnishing: Installation of high-quality insulation, walls, ceilings, and flooring for superior thermal and acoustic performance.
Manufacture and Installation: Precision-crafted fixed, soft, and stainless-steel furniture tailored to meet the demands of onboard life.
Galley & Laundry Facilities: Complete refurbishment of galley and laundry areas to support seamless and efficient daily operations.
