ZENIT – Advanced Crab Catcher & Processor
Accomar proudly contributes to the Zenit Crab Catcher & Processor (NB1083) project, an innovative vessel meticulously crafted at Tersan Shipyard in collaboration with Skipsteknisk for the renowned fishing company JSC Arcticservice. This 62-meter vessel combines robust fishing capabilities with onboard processing and freezing facilities, setting new standards in the crabbing industry.
Accomar's Contribution:
Bespoke Accommodation Design: Comprehensive concept and detailed design for crew cabins and public areas, tailored to optimize space utilization and crew comfort.
Turnkey Interior Solutions: Installation of insulation, walls, ceilings, and flooring built to endure challenging marine conditions.
Custom Marine Furnishings: Precision manufacturing and installation of fixed, soft, and stainless-steel furniture to meet functionality and durability standards.
Operational Facilities: Outfitting of galley, laundry, and provision areas to support long operational deployments.
Engineering Excellence:
Crew Facilities: Accommodation for 38 crew members, distributed across 8 single cabins and 15 twin cabins, ensuring comfort and efficiency during long voyages.
Strategic Importance: Zenit represents the first of a series of six vessels commissioned by JSC Arcticservice to rejuvenate their fleet. As part of the North West Fishing Consortium (NWFC), these vessels are essential to modernizing operations in the Barents Sea, ensuring higher efficiency, sustainability, and improved working conditions for the crew.
